A case of robbery and assault on two brothers living in Pratapgarh district of UP has come to light in Delhi’s red light area GB Road. Here, two brothers were held hostage in room number 49 and beaten up. However, the police have arrested two accused in this case.

A case of beating and robbery of two brothers who had come from Pratapgarh, UP for shopping in the red light area located at Kamala Market in central Delhi has come to light. Both the brothers had come to Shraddhanand Marg (GB Road) on Wednesday to buy goods for the shop. In the meantime, it started raining and both got stuck there. When one of the brothers needed to go to the toilet, a young man took both of them to room number-49 on the pretext of going to the toilet. There, both were held hostage and beaten. A woman also beat them. After this, both were robbed of Rs 11,000 and other items kept in their pockets and chased them away from there. The police reached the spot and after investigation, registered a case and arrested Anil Thapa and Madhu.
Prajjwal Jaiswal along with his brother Ravi had come to Shraddhanand Marg on Wednesday to buy goods from Pratapgarh, UP. The elder brother has a hardware shop in Pratapgarh. Both of them had to buy goods from here for him. It suddenly started raining in the afternoon. Both of them stood under room number-49. During this time Prajjwal told his brother that he had to go to the toilet, then the youth standing there told him that there is a toilet on the first floor, go there.
Prajjwal and his brother fell into the trap of the young man. As soon as both of them reached the first floor, the same young man reached there with some other boys. These people started beating both of them. Later they took both of them to the second floor. There the accused along with a woman looted cash and other items from both of them. On protesting, the woman threatened to implicate both of them in a false case.
